Supporting your child to return to Outdoor Gymnastics 

It will be very normal for your child to be a little unsettled as they start back into school and activities. Please note that we will work with you to support your child and help them to settle in again. It is however very important to practice social distancing and processes for dropping off and picking up your child will change.

PROGRAMMES

Programmes are adjusted to ensure athletes are rebuilding after a period of time out of the gym ensuring their safety and minimise injury risk.

Development of more difficult skills is limited to avoid injury and coaches to remain contactless with athletes so spotting is not allowed unless in an emergency.

Saturday - Hobsonville Gym Zone BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL

5- 7 yrs 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM, 5 - 7 yrs10:30 AM to 11:15 AM, 8 - 12 yrs11:30 AM to 12:15 PM

STAFF

• Staff will work offsite where possible, and when at the facility will maintain social distance.
• Staff will be wearing masks when working public or with other staff members.
• All our onsite staff have been double vaccinated.
• Coaches have been advised to take a ‘hands off’ approach to Gymnast instruction where is safe to do so.

 FACILITY and PROCEDURES

All Adults and participants over 12years please scan the QR code or fill in the manual contact tracing form, at the café entrance.

• Our facility is not allowed to open to the public yet. Our Café is open for take-out only.
• Toilet facilities are not available so please be prepared before coming to class.
• All parents must drop of and pick up only. If your child is struggling to settle let us know so we can help.
• Classes will take place on the grass in front of the gym.
• Please wait for your class on the foot path in front of the Gym.
• Hand sanitize before and after class.
• Equipment will be sanitized between classes.
• Class size is limited to 10 to maintain social distancing. BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL
• Students to wear masks before and after classes.
• If classes are cancelled due to rain we will credit your Gym Kids account.
• We will advise of a rain cancellation by 9am via website and Facebook.
